What? 

Save the Children Fund is an international non-governmental organization that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries. Its main goal is to improve the lives of children through better education, health care, economic opportunities as well as providing e
mergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts.

How?

Save the Children gives children in the United States and around the world what every child deserves, a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and care when disasters strike. Having various donators from all over the world they are able to provide children homes when their homes and families are gone. 

Why?

Save the Children finds it important to provide a home for all of those that cant. They believe that all the children have a chance to be loved and treated in a way that every child wants to be treated. The main message behind this organization is that children should be treated like any other children, no matter what they have been through. Nobody should give up, especially not at a young age. 
Context

Save the Children’s context on their website is by using straight forward language. This in holds that the language is straight forward and can be understood by any type of public. This is an advantage to the organization, as people immediately feel engaged in the community. Besides feeling engaged, it gives the readers a trustworthy feeling as various stories are told about children and how they used the donated money. It also motivates larger companies to help the community. 

Consumer

Save the Children fund is targeting companies to help out on building programs for children. The categories that involve are child protection, child sponsorship, education, emergency response, health and nutrition, hunger and livelihoods, HIV and AIDS. These categories are related to the children that are brought to their community. 

Community

The community consist of children that are mainly left behind after a big natural disaster, had severe accidents where they lost their parents, parents that left their children behind as they no longer wanted to take care of them, or any harm disease. The children are getting engaged in a community where they get to meet other children that are going through a similar phase as theirs. Companies such as Ikea, Johnson-Johnson, Mondelez, Toms, P&G and Pepsico express their support towards Save the Children through different types of media. 

Connection


The online media for this foundation should engage other companies in helping out the society in saving more children. This cannot just be done with one platform, but various different ones. Besides that, receiving advice from other companies would inspire the organization in creating other activities, which would help other children around the world.
